Son Barbassa: Improvement of Energy Efficiency and Self-Consumption in Our Facilities
Improvement of Energy Efficiency and Self-Consumption in Our Facilities
At Cases de Son Barbassa, we are committed to protecting the environment and using resources responsibly. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, and thanks to the financial support of the European Union – NextGenerationEU under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), we have implemented a significant initiative to improve the energy efficiency of our facilities.
This project, with a total budget of €89,605.62 (excluding VAT), has primarily involved:
-
Installation of a photovoltaic solar panel system for self-consumption with a capacity of 51.04 kWp, enabling us to generate our own clean energy and reduce dependence on the electricity grid.
-
Replacement of an old gas dryer with a new, more efficient electric dryer.
-
Replacement of an existing dishwasher with a more energy-efficient model.
The total subsidized investment for this initiative amounts to €98,143.33.
With this installation, we not only contribute to environmental well-being, sustainability, and the energy transition, but also reaffirm our commitment to offering products managed with a sustainable approach. We firmly believe that the responsible decisions we make today will positively impact everyone's future, contributing to a greener and more efficient tomorrow.
